As Flip Trips, we've expanded beyond handmade items to bring you smart deals, unique finds, and carefully selected treasures, both new and gently used.

Early childhood education will always be close to our hearts.  You'll continue to find learning-focused items, hands-on activities, and playful resources designed to make learning fun, often inspired by children's books and stories.

Hi, I’m Michelle, the founder and heart behind this small business. For 15 years, I ran a licensed in-home childcare program in Weld County, Colorado. I earned my Child Development Associate and spent my days teaching, guiding, and playing with young learners—and my nights and weekends prepping for the week ahead.

Those “days off”? They were often filled with cutting, laminating, planning, and praying that Monday would run smoothly. I know the behind-the-scenes work that teachers and providers pour into their days, because I lived it.

When I became an empty nester, I stepped away from full-time childcare and found myself surrounded by bins full of valuable educational material and sensory tools—things that worked so well, I couldn’t bear to get rid of them. That’s when I changed my SCENTsational Freshies focus from making and selling homemade crafts to helping early childhood educators.

​

My mission is to help educators and caregivers get their time back—without sacrificing the joy of hands-on, meaningful learning.

Every product I create—whether it’s a sensory kit, curriculum supplement, or early learning tool—is kid tested and childcare provider/preschool teacher approved and is designed to be purposeful, playful, and prep-free. Because you deserve resources that lighten your load and spark excitement in little learners.
